Our Local Community...

A quick note....as I speak with people that I'm running, I tell them the same thing as my friends. Read what I stand for and vote for who is the best to represent you. However, when I talk with people meeting them and listening, I am learning that there is a lot more work to be done.

Our leaders are not helping. They are actually in the way. There was a Vietnam Vet I met who spent his life working hard to retire. He and many others want to retire while being self sufficient. Government is not allowing that. With so much regulations, we are unable to function, support ourselves and even enjoy life. Moreover, I've seen it time and time again. Stress hurts people. Government is the stress and people are getting cancer.

It's time for someone to escort government out of the way to let people live freely without the burden of regulations or high taxes. The more programs we have, the more problems are created. Just look around and there are more homeless people, more tax burdens and yet, no improvements. Just more problems and promises of wanting to tax higher in order to solve issues. Let the people solve problems. Let industries innovate, research and design solutions.

Prime examples of tax burdens created by government, causing environmental disasters is the Ivanpah solar project. Try Solyndra as well. Research, or ask me and I'd be happy to share how Ivanpah project burns more natural gas than if you just let consumers warm their homes. The idea of "green" is green money, not green environment to the people in charge. Locally, Moss Landing has done more contamination than solving our energy needs in a green way.

Yet, no one helping the people. This is where nothing has been fixed and it's passion that is driving me listening to people. Speaking with people, I am seeing this common thread. Someone needs to stand up with knowledge, articulate and lead for the greater of the people.

Iran...

So many Americans are upset with the bombing of Iran. So many Americans do not know that the Iranian people of Iran, Iranian-Americans here as well as around the world are happy for this, as they call, rescue. Talk with someone who fled Iran and you'll hear a different story than the news reports. I'll leave it there and let people research for themselves talking to Iranian-Americans.

Rentals (Beach Rentals)...

Someone asked me about rentals. I said people have the right to rent their homes. But then the comment came up about it's not right for someone to rent to 16 people for a 4 bedroom house. This changes the dynamics of the question and answer entirely.

Yes, a home in a residential area along the coast can be rented for a residential manner. But for 16-20+ people to come and party with loud noises, drinking, trashing the neighborhood--a big fat NO! I've lived in the Rio Del Mar Beach Flats and the house next to me had exactly that. It was not fun at all. I had to go to work at 5am, or 2am. I 100% agree that homes in a residential neighborhood should not be party houses. I as a real estate agent understand and respect zoning. This is how it should be approached. If someone buys a home along the coast that is residential, than renting to a family for residents is okay. But not for 16-20 or more people who destroy others, what is called, quiet enjoyment is not appropriate.

If you have a story to share or what government is blocking you or what you would like addressed, please share and I can post here for others (removing personal information as I believe in data privacy).

Thank you kindly.
